In a recent feature, BusinessWeek reports the nation has 3 million jobs up for grabs. Unfortunately, without retraining, U.S. workers may not be able to fill them. In the May 11 cover story, there are many fields lacking qualified candidates.
It is probably no surprise to most of you that Bankruptcy Attorney is the Number 2 top rated job in the country. Bankruptcy attorneys report being so busy that they can hardly keep up with the work. Of course, bankruptcy rises and falls with the economy, so those of you right out of law school seeking to specialize, remember that in very good times, you can be very, very slow.
If you are wondering what the hottest jobs are that lack qualified candidates, here there are. My pick, for those of us who might be a tad stressed out from the runaway train of litigation, is Number 3: Crab Processor. Now, how can you get bored doing that?
