Biography

Chere B. Estrin has written nine career books including Hot Jobs & Amazing Careers: Smart Moves for Paralegals; The Paralegal Career Guide Third Edition and The Successful Paralegal’s Job Search Guide. She is a former executive with a Fortune 500 corporation, an administrator in two major law firms and a successful entrepreneur.

Estrin has been interviewed by Newsweek, The Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, The National Law Journal, Working Woman, Latina, Maxim, The Tennessean, Frontier, The Daily Journal, and other prestigious publications. Previously, she held the position of career advice columnist for and was named “Career Guru” for Legal Assistant Today magazine.

Ms. Estrin has received the Century City/Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce “Woman of Achievement Award”; is an Inc. magazine “Entrepreneur of the Year” finalist; a California Lawyer magazine “LAMMIE” award winner, Los Angeles Paralegal Association Lifetime Achievement Award recipient; and a co-founding member of The International Paralegal Management Association.

A energetic seminar leader, she has been a featured speaker for the Association of Legal Administrators, the California State Bar, the International Paralegal Management Association, the ABA, Women in Business, national and regional Paralegal Associations, UCLA, Ohio State Bar and Loyola University, to name a few. Ms. Estrin has frequently appeared on radio and TV and has also led many retreats and workshops in top law firms and corporations across the country.
